Sherry DavidsonMs. Sherry L. Davidson is a native Tennessean, and has lived in Old Hickory for the past 30 years. She has a bachelor's of science degree in mathematics, and minors in secondary education and sociology from MTSU in Murfreesboro. Sherry has taught in middle and high schools for the Metro-Davidson County Public School System, as well as for TN School for the Blind, where she has conferenced and advised in many student-parent relationships. A divorced mother of three children, Ms. Davidson considers herself to be a good listener who has patience and empathy for the members of a divorcing family. She joined the LifeBridge team seeking to smooth the way for newly-divorcing single parents and their children in their emotional journey.




Tara Sweeten
is a Senior Psychological Examiner. She provides counseling for children, adolescents,
women, and families. Tara is experienced in the areas of divorce, grief, anxiety, depression, behavior issues, sexual abuse, domestic violence, abuse and neglect, attachment issues, trauma, ADHD, social skills, and self-esteem. Tara also provides educational and psychological evaluations. She conducts evaluations for learning disabilities, Dyslexia, Attention-Deficit, mood disorders, psychopathology and personality issues, custody evaluations, and many other issues. Tara provides services at The BABBCenter in Hendersonville, TN.

 

Tara believes in helping children and families make changes and learn skills in order to heal, be happy, and reach their full potential. She utilizes play therapy with children. Tara realizes life is a journey with many turns and counseling is one tool to help families stay on a healthy path.

Tara loves playing games and being outside with her family. They enjoy hiking, camping, and playing ball together. Tara also enjoys cooking, gardening, and reading. She is an active member at Madison Christian Church.




Ralph CookRalph Cook, a native of West Virginia, is an accomplished music educator who has served as a Minister of Music, a Minister of Youth, and a teacher in public schools. In 1998 Ralph received his Master of Education Degree in Educational Leadership from Middle Tennessee State University, becoming licensed in School Administration (K-12)

Five years later, in 2003, Ralph felt the desire to serve children not only through education, but to minister to children and adults through counseling. In 2005, Ralph completed his Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville.

Today Ralph is actively serving as a counselor at two locations - The BabbCenter and at his home, Lantern Lane Farm. Ralph also serves in a local church as Pastor of Counseling. His counseling caters to the unique needs of children, ministers, couples, and individuals. Ralph has been married to his wife, Joni for 26 years and they have two adult sons and three grandchildren.


Cindy Wilson   is a wife, and the mother of two very active and talented teenagers. She has a Master of Arts Professional Counseling degree from Argosy University. In addition, she also has an AAS degree in Criminal Justice and a BS degree in Occupational Education with a specialization in Psychology and a second major in Human Services with a specialization in Nursing Services, both from Wayland Baptist University. She completed her internship through a faith based counseling center in Hendersonville, TN and has recently begun practicing at Hazel Path Counseling in Hendersonville, TN. She has previously worked as a psychiatric nurse, case manager, substance abuse counselor, and resident services director for an assisted living facility. She has experience working with clients of all ages and from all walks of life. She has homeschooled both her children all their lives and enjoys teaching, which is just one of the reasons she loves teaching the Co-Parenting classes through LifeBridge. In her spare time Cindy enjoys being a part of the Steeple Players Theater in Hendersonville, as well as music, photography, and painting.

The address of the Hazel Path Counseling location is 100 Hazel Path, Suite B (Lexington Bldg), Hendersonville, TN 37075.  Hours are Mon - Thur 10am - 8pm and Fri 10 am - 5pm.  Weekend hours available by appointment. Teresa Logan Harrison started her career as a special education teacher and taught school for 14 years.  She received her masters in School Psychology in 1990 and has worked as a school psychologist for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. Teresa loves her profession!  She works with elementary, middle and high school age children along with teachers and parents.  Much of her work is focused on testing and ensuring the best services for children for their academic success.  She also counsels children on many different issues.  One of those issues is dealing with divorce. 
 
Teresa was married for 22 years before she divorced in 2002.  She has two boys, ages 24 and 22.  So her children were ages 18 and 16 when her divorce was final.  She believes that she brings some personal experience to the LifeBridge classes. Teresa has experienced a lot of the feelings and emotions that parents go through when divorcing.  Teresa is a living example of how life can have a positive turn after divorce!  She now resides happily in Clarksville with husband Mike Harrison.
 
Teresa says that she is thankful for the opportunity to have received training in LifeBridge.  She says "It is a wonderful program that reaches out to parents and supplies them with the tools needed to work through divorce in a healthy way for their children.  I feel all parents should be required to have this training.  It is definitely an eye-opening experience!  It allows you to see through your childrens' eyes.  I look forward to working together with you as we go through LifeBridge."


 

Dr. Becky Swanson-Hindman was born in Nashville, Tennessee.She attended school in Nashville and earned her B.S., M.A. Ed. and Ed. D. from Tennessee State University.Currently, Becky works at Cameron Middle School and has been teaching English as a second language for 12 of her 29 years as an educator.

She considers her strengths to be the ability to work well with others, patience, listening, helping and empathizing.Becky became a member of the LifeBridge team because as true to form, she has carried an interest in the welfare of every child she has taught over the years.She sought to do her part in the betterment of her students by educating parents who find themselves as part of a broken home.
